Why Train With Us?
When Daniel set the SSP training facility up, he envisaged something different from a traditional gym. He saw the most common problem with a standard gym membership; once you have signed up you have a quick induction session and, unless you can afford expensive personal training sessions, you are left to your own devices. In addition to this, boot camp services or individual personal trainers often offer a "varied service", but not one which leads to optimal progression and are individually tailored to your needs.
There are two main problems with both these training methods; one is that if you are indeed left to your own devices. Very few people are able to confidently and effectively achieve their goals in this way, mainly because many do not know how to effectively squat or complete a deadlift without hurting your back. If people are unable to be confident in their form, then how can you build more muscle, get stronger and change your physique if your not training optimally?
The second problem with bootcamps and personal training in general is the variability in quality and many trainers will make a selling point that "each session is different" but this is fundamentally flawed. You rarely progress in any of the key movements if this is the case and only with consistent repetition can you build strength.
so what does ssp caterham do differently?
All sessions are coached allowing you to follow a consistent, individualised, results driven program that will increase in volume and/or intensity as well as exercise progression.
Every session that you attend will have a client to coach ratio of 3:1 for strength classes or 6:1 for HIIT/Cardio basis, with one on one sessions always available. Small group training has many benefits and you can get all the benefits of personal training at a much reduced rate with SSP. For example, if you came to just 3 strength classes and 2 HIIT every week, you would only pay the equivalent of £9.75 per session - where else can you pay such a fantastically low price for personal training?!
